It's a shame that this iconic luxrender scene is gone, with all the other old stuff as well it seems.

Your image was rendered by Photon GI method... But we detect missed reflected and refracted lights.
I'm using OctaneRender with a GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.
At (Unidirectonal) Path Tracing kernel: Not 1 million spp but yes almost 2 millions spp. We don't worry with very long time render but my image competes the real world
but the real "life" doesn't exist glass with too high dispersion (Abbe number 25 at ior 1.53).
