Hi. Unfortunately, @B.Y.O.B. is left the development of BlendLuxCore for Blender as he hadn't got enough money for his hard work between development. So thats why we have no main developer now. Any great skills on programming languages are welcome!

It's sad to see this great Renderer in this sad state of affairs... As it is so closely tied with blender I wonder why blender foundation couldn't have given it more love, it is more then worth it!

Because majority of Blender community think that Cycles
Is more than enough. Some even wonder why Luxcore Team
didn't work for CyclesX.

So is luxcore dead for now?

Whatever the future might be for luxcore i want to say a big thank you to all people involved in luxcore and especially to Dade and B.Y.O.B for their effort all these years, you have created an amazing renderer!

One thing which we can to do is support LuxCoreRender development with donating per/month for found. With this we can find new developers or pay for old developers with donations. More donations, more development.

maybe someone from remains developers can make something like blender development fund
https://fund.blender.org/ i mean more centralized(one front page with all info like here https://fund.blender.org/), more open(easy to join), more promoted - in order to almost all who use luxcore will know that - "future of luxcore depend from them"

and when in fund will be decent amount of money - luxcore can hire permanent programers.

if "there" already are something like "development fund" it must be promoted in front page of luxcore project and it MUST be simple and easy way to "join" - literally 1-2 buttons

for blender way with fund is helps, for krita is helps - maybe for luxcore it will help
