Hey guys, new Luxcore user here. I come from 3DSMax and FStorm, along with Corona Renderer as well. Came to share a cool for fun project to try out Luxcore Render. Had a lot of fun with it and found it has a lot of potential. There may be a good share of mistakes but any feedback is welcome. (There are more shots but there is a max of 10 files only and I've never posted on a forum so pardon me.)

Hi

That is indeed an extremelly beautiffull showcase you are sharing
With us here. You can post remaining image with a second answer
post ( yes I know I like archviz render a bit too much :D  )
Another project showing how great Luxcore is for Archviz.
Nothing to say abouth lighting and design it look just Top quality.

Can you give us more details about hardware and engine settings ?
What I can say looking at the image is that you may had issue with
noise and or render not being fast enough for some reason. There
is this feel like denoiser being applied too early and accentuated by
the Sharpening filter.

I say that because your project is the perfect candidate for luxcore
Too Shine with Gi cache ( interior with lot of diffuse surfaces).
So Lux here should be like a storm Soo fast you would even remove
denoiser from the equation.

Hey Charles, really appreciate the feedback. Yes I attached a screenshot above with the settings. Nothing really too fancy. I do believe you are correct. The only time I used any caches were for the images containing the glass objects (PhotoGI). As for the environment, I did not use it due to having an issue with compilation(?) It had stayed on Creating RenderSession (Env.) for a good 40 minutes, so I just force quit Blender and turned it off. I didn't notice too much of a difference when I used the Environment cache for a preview before, but I'm 100% sure I'm probably using it wrong :) . Maybe you guys could point me to the right direction Thanks again!

*****EDIT

Forgot to add my hardware: GTX 1080, i7-7700K, 16GB Ram

I don't know for the Envcache issue (bug or something else). You can disable Env cache.
But The performance leap you can get in this project with Photon Gi cache Will be huge.

Try to use a higher number for importance value in your Hdri as it is the main light source like in the image below.
And also the photon Gi cache settings here. Just increase the radius scale if you get light leaks. But the lower the
Brute force Radius scale faster the render.

Excellent work, beautiful images.
Maybe you want to try enabling pixel filtering in the sampling tab in order to avoid antialiasing issues.

Alright, so I went ahead and applied those settings and noticed a small improvement. I will probably have to dedicate a full day messing with just the settings. Thanks again.
