export IES file from Luzrender

Hello,
a while ago I posted a question in the user support forum if it were possible to create IES files from light-emitting surfaces (virtual luminaire). A user answered by referring to the BakeCPU feature in Luxcorerender. His suggestion was to render a lightmap on a sphere around that luminaire. This seems an interesting approach but would there be a way to export the lightmap values into a plain text IES file? Additionally, there should be calculated several concentric lightmap spheres in a similar way a Goniometer does it in a laboratory.
I think having IES export could be an interesting additional feature in the Luxcorerender software. Thank you so much for your consideration!
