I am a Mac user . The support OpenCl is stopt on OSX. Mojave is the first on without OpenCl support only metal support. Every user must have a GPU with metal support on OSX. ( Radeon RX 580, Radeon VII ...) If we want OpenCl support we have to switch to a other System. ( Linux ) But the Radeon need OpenCl 2.0 on Linux. Lux core Render dosent recognition the GPU and the Mac user cant use the wonderful Lux core Render. So my question: When support Lux core Render OpenCl 2.0 ?
The Mac version must have metal support ! But this is very complicat. The Linux version need OpenCl 2.0 support. Every mac user need this support.

LuxCoreRender has worked for years with OpenCL v2.x (including Linux) :?:

If LuxCoreRender doesn't see your GPU, it is a problem in your Linux driver installation, try first to run LuxMark to check that you have working OpenCL drivers.

Assuming you tried with a Ubuntu based Linux Distro. AMD GPU Pro Drivers allowed me to render with OpenCL on Cycles.
Here's a link to the instructions for Ubuntu 20.04.

You can also JUST install the OpenCL portion of the driver.

Note that for Linux the latest 20 series drivers are extremely unstable.
I recommend using 19.50
(I am using OpenSuse)

LuxCoreRender requires at least v1.2 and works with any version greater or equal.
