Texture scattering/bombing?

Hi,
there are any options to texture bombing for foliage or dirt for landscapes? In Cycles you have OSL textures (and complex nodal stuff like SCATTr_v1.0).

I have frankly no idea what texture bombing is
Can you post/link an image to explain what you are aiming for ?

The term bombing refers to the Steve May's Renderman shader. Now Randomized Bitmaps Map in 3ds Max 2018. Look at
