Hi,

Is there any plan of implementing any denoiser function?

Have tried waveelet on prorender and it's really unstable. What do you think?

Regards.

It would be nice to find an external tool, plugin, etc. for this task. I have looked in few solutions but I have yet to find one with all the right "features" (open source, not requiring a lot of render engine changes, etc.).

From what I've see so far, the good denoisers have the disadvantage that they need a lot of AOVs to work (for example the one in Cycles).
This of course makes the rendering slower and increases RAM usage, especially when you have large films as is often the case in production.

Don't know a lot about RPR denoiser but what i can say is that darktable denoising feature is far enough for any purpose. just save your file in EXR file format to get the best result it also work with 16 bit png. The luxcore current alpha stage is focusing stability and raw performance.
This is just the way i work.
