The IRRADIANCE AOV

Hi,
I don't understand the IRRADIANCE AOV.
In the manual, it is advertised as a 3-channel RGB buffer.
But if I import it like that, I get the attached image.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug?

I should have fixed this problem.

Hi,
what does it mean to fix the issue?
How does it look now?
Thanks.

Like this.
But it's not meant to be pretty, you either save it as EXR and open in some kind of light analysis tool, or you just enable the "contour lines" imagepipeline plugin:

Hi,
can the radiance (maybe in false color like classic) be exposed in Blender there as well?
Thanks.
