SSS Question

me again :)

try to build SSS material. in this tutorial ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDqXv6gu3ts) the speaker shows
the LuxRender Alpha Transparency (7min27)

is this the same funktion like the opacity in my node? (screenshot)
