I've been working on fixing the old SU2LX plugin for Luxrender and its now getting very close to be usable
Left to do before release:
Fix the Fov; this is all over the place right now
Fix Volume; no idea what's wrong yet
Render engine type names and settings
Bundle with Luxcore; need the updated sdk
What I've done:
Fixed ply export
Overhaul the material preview
Remove displacement
Fix exporter to comply with Luxcore
Fixed various dialog related issues
Found/reported various bugs with lxs files
What's next:
Render view; currently WIP but waiting on a
bug fix
Export cfg and scn files
Export changes only; this is my bug bare

Do you already have this online in a repository?
We can create one at

It would be good to have this online, it will make this project visible, others might get interested to help, you can link it in sketchup forums when asking for help etc.
Also, you don't have to fix every last thing before a first release. It looks like you already have something quite usable - I think it would be a good idea to make a first alpha release now. It would also spark interest among others if you make a post about it in the right place (e.g. a sketchup forum).
Thanks for your efforts - I look forward to see LuxCore renders done from Sketchup in our artwork forums

No its not online yet, but yes that would be great if you could make a repository for it.

How should I call the repository? (side note: it's rather hard to change the name later)

Username is the same as here: "nigec"
Name, "SU2LXC" was my first thought, short and simple but I guess "Sketchup2LuxCore" is more informative.
I dunno just pick one, I'm easy

Been long since i last used SU but anyways. I'm finding it motivating, seeing more activities in the forum.
