Hi, yesterday i tried the caustic scene again, Editing the new render setting so to get transparent glass, without that greysh color when the glass has thickness. I didn't succeed
use these parameters and you will see the changes.patro wrote: Sat May 08, 2021 12:26 pmHi, yesterday i tried the caustic scene again, Editing the new render setting so to get transparent glass, without that greysh color when the glass has thickness. I didn't succeed![]()

downloaded I will try it later.TAO wrote: Sat May 08, 2021 12:49 pm you can download the caustic scene if you still have a problem. i update the scene with new settings.
you can use more bounce or lighter color or use transparency shadow or combination of all to remove the odd effect(it will be perfectly clear), by the way, it is totally normal because of the thickness of the area. adding a little bit of color will make it more natural.patro wrote: Sat May 08, 2021 1:17 pmdownloaded I will try it later.TAO wrote: Sat May 08, 2021 12:49 pm you can download the caustic scene if you still have a problem. i update the scene with new settings.
I run a test with the old scene, editing render setting as suggested.
