Little test 50mn render with a Bidir metropolis render without clamp/denoise : there isn't too much to loose here
Interior Studio
Re: Interior Studio
Hmm, I expected the glass table would make a nice caustic on the ceiling, maybe is not show because it gets outside the camera view.

Re: Interior Studio
Some assets i'm creating for the project :
Re: Interior Studio
Cool. How did you do the packing? Physics simulation?
Re: Interior Studio
YES Physics sim following this tutorial ( just tips these words on youtube : Расположение объектов при помощи Rigid Body)
Re: Interior Studio
New asset and i've really got lot of fun with theses one (modelling and shading blender physics ) !
Also a sculpt inspired from this google image (strangely i've my name on it "Charles") :

Re: Interior Studio
High quality work as usual!
Why didn't you put it on your sculpt as well?
Re: Interior Studio
Too much for a little guy like me. It is enough to copy/digitalize this wonderfull metal sculpt. Why didn't you put it on your sculpt as well?
Re: Interior Studio
New asset done. inspired from a render done by another artists : https://vimeo.com/218457745
And yes i'm too lazy to correctly finish the cactus

Re: Interior Studio
Hi, I have a few question about your approach to such project using luxcore.
1.You use visibility map, no portals right?(I don't know if there are portals in luxcore anyway)
2.On main window/glass objects do you use some sort of special options to avoid complex calculations?(for example I disable shadows and glossy rays for glass panes with cycles in such situations to greatly boost rendertimes without much visual differences)
3.Did you try to render 4K or larger resolution and if yes what would be the rendertimes then?
4.Is BiDir really faster than normal pathtracing in luxcore?
Thanks
