PS: Is it possible if you Luxcore people join forces with blender team in order to have this amazing render engine integrated in blender by default?
How could it be a viable option ? Aside from throwing LuxCore out of the window and just all working on Cycles ?
You know that has been, somewhat, tried in the past ... a story very few know
I think what he want to say is to have Luxcore available as render engine right out of the box like eevee / cycles .Just have build prepacked inside blender by default.
There are many addon available in blender without the need for user installation even the not so popular POV_Ray is available. To have Lux available and activated by default in blender will boost our visibility (something we lack ). It isn't also the first a see people suggesting that.

Once upon a time, YafRay (the original project, the dad of YafaRay ) was included in Blender (pretty much as main render engine aside from old Blender internal). YafRay was than abandoned and Blender Foundation was very very very upset of the mess (probably thinking: "never again").
But, yes, if they include POV Ray, they should include LuxCoreRender ... for God sake, are you kidding ?!?
