I think that's happening because of the noise(grain). the viewport image has a little bit of grain and noise that make it more contrasted compare to the second one with no noise and grain, you can feel this behavior in any kind of image I think.

I'm afraid it is not that. Even if i run a copletely clean image still the difference there. It is something else i think.

I also can't see any specific difference from this image.
Could it be that it is the result of OptiX denoiser, which is active in your scene?
Have you tried comparing to a preview-render with much longer than 10s render time?

No it isn't denoiser i also ran the test without it. But i may have a starting point now. The difference is lie between GPU and CPU obviously.
I also discover i was running metropolis on GPU but even With sobol it is the same story.
And now full render
CPU
GPU

Metall and Glossy are not mixed on the GPU. This problem is old and has been discussed elsewhere.

That is really Sad if it can't be solve. As it one of the nice easy way to do carpaint. I wonder if disney have the same issue.

Here's a mix: Metal + Glossy w/ Glossy Coating (scratches) over... like Metallic Carpaint.
However, there's indeed a very slight difference between GPU vs CPU, but unnoticeable to untrained eye
Done w/ latest 2.6 daily using NVidia's GTX 1070.
CPU render (notice difference in Glossy Coating bump, more precise in detail)
PS
Viewport uses different engine altogether and so slightly more prominent difference is expected. Finally, it's there just to accelerate look dev. workflow.
