Kernel Problems & Unable to parse PLY files - GitHub Issues

Reporting also here a couple of problems I encountered with LuxCoreRender on Linux.
I've had problems with kernels, reported on GitHub as issue #524 and in rendering the default scenes because of problems in PLY parsing, reported on GitHub as issue #525.
