Can you upload the updated scene again?

Without the scene, I can only recommend to check:

• Do the rays start in the correct volume? (camera volume settings)
• Are the interior and exterior volumes of the materials set up correctly? For example, the ball should have the foggy volume as exterior.

Yeah, I came to say that, there's an issue with the texture of the ball and of the "ground", that will help. At least, it worked for me!
