Here in Ivory coast 250wh = 35$

even at these prices, working with a distributed computing render farm will be more profitable.
Nobody forces you to keep the equipment 24/7.
How many points are needed, accumulated, turned off.

PS: There are so many resources in Russia that water, electricity and gasoline should be free.
But .. Throughout the history of this country, there were only 2 wise rulers, and they ruled very few.

Sure and even at 24/7 for me it still work ;)
This make my next archviz short film a viable project
Btw you can add the link to lux it in your signature.

Yes this is what I'm thinking too. making future projects more viable!

Power Consumption and Costs
Power Consumption and Costs
I have to add, that I pay about 75 EUR per month only to be able to get electrical power, what is included in the kWh price a pay for but listed transparently in half year's bills.
Actually energy costs are calculated separately (still about 0.17 Euro per kWh business time rate). However, I have consumed about 5000 kWh 2019, including cooking, light, dish and cloths washing for a two person household in a four rooms apartment. I guess my rendering times make a small amount of these 5 MWh.
What is very nice, all the electric power I use comes from sustainable energies (>95% water power).

No. And this is their principled position.
There is a way out of this situation - Luxсore must become part of Blender.

I've always loved a project like Sheepit! but for Luxcore. Is there any new?
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, the developer cannot do a project.
In search of the cheapest way to carry out rendering, I communicated with the Barista addon developers. They have already conducted some tests, and soon we will have the opportunity to make a very cheap Luxcore visualization.
