Light rays following a curved path

Here is a wacky question, but I think that I may have an interesting application for it if it were possible. Is it theoretically possible to make light rays follow a curved path? I would like the light rays to behave like those diagrams of magnetic fields or as light actually behaves due to gravitational bending around a black hole. The alternative could be to warp the space in Blender. I know that it would be much easier to fake it but I am a pureist and I like my work to be genuine simulations, it is not easy but it can be surprisingly rewarding. I am investigating possibilities for dome projection animations for planetariums to graphicly illustrate in a fun way some of the most profound aspects of physics and mathematics to school children.
