Something we badly need is a lot of visibility. I was thinking about contacting some Blender Youtube Channel For Luxcore Promotional Video/Tutorial.
I Think It can be a game changer for the project to invest more in communication on Wide userbase Youtube Channel Such as :
InspirationTuts https://www.youtube.com/c/InspirationTuts/featured
ASKNK https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ask+nk
By the way here is a small Luxcore appearence on :

Luxcore promotion
Re: Luxcore promotion
I agree with that as I mention it in another thread already. we really need that. LuxCore is amazing and with a good presentation, people will be more attracted to it and that's something we all really want to see. Also, a few YouTubers already asked for LuxCore main developers to have interviews with them.Sharlybg wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 11:31 am Something we badly need is a lot of visibility. Re: Luxcore promotion
Great idea. That's what luxcore needs, disclosure.
Re: Luxcore promotion
I would recommend to illustrate a practical use of LuxCore in a real situation, like the set up of a scene with lighting and environmental lights (and Color Management) for archviz, materials set up, or in a caustics case situation (eg. advertising shot). I think it would be interesting to see how to properly use LuxCore to light a scene/character, to render caustics, to set up materials properly, to set the rendering options for the best performance, etc. Possibly, not everything make sense to be rendered in LuxCore or, viceversa, in Cycles/Vray/Arnold/Renderman etc.
That said, I'd like to see the advantages of using LuxCore (I'm playing the devil's advocate) with respect to other solutions. What about render farms? Yep, I know, it's off topic.

Make a plugin for Unreal Engine & apply for a grant.
