Do you have a scene that render fine at low resolution but goes out of memory at 4/8K with tile rendering ?

this one does not rendered in 1080 with 256 px and 16.shows black screen. It is not too complex
Can not find exact example maybe later

16 AA samples with such a big tile size is a lot. Using more AA samples requires more memory, if I remember correctly.

In LuxCore, rendering a tile at 256x256x16 AA is like rendering an image with 256x256x16 pixels so it is like rendering an image at 1K resolution. Plus Lux is also rendering multiple tiles at the same time so you are probably using a LOT of ram for the image.

Just use the default tile size, something like 64x64x16 or even smaller. It should solve your problem.

Thanks
Some test examples
Tile_32px_AA_25_625sample_2min45sek.png
32 px AA 25
625 samples time=2 min 45sek
No_Tiles_625sample_2min30sek.png
No tiles
625 samples time=2 min 30sek
Tile_256px_AA_2_625sample_2min56sek.png
256 px AA 2
625 samples time=2 min 56sek

Are you using tile rendering ? Mixing CPU and GPU rendering ? What version are you using ?

The problem turned out to be in AMD drivers not working with the ColorRamp node in the materials. This led to the crash.
