In blender 3.4.1 with the latest blendluxcore build assigning multiple materials to an object is fixed and working now!

Does the Mac version requires any special adaptations/extra work?

Apparently the Mac build does not succeed because of an expired certificate.
Maybe u3dreal can fix that, if he has time. Let's wait and see.

(error = JPEG error: Wrong JPEG library version: library is 90, caller expects 80
Is only present in this new Mac build, both in 3.3.2 and 3.4.1 - Reverted back to the old version and all is well in 3.3.2
Just to make it clear: I did go trought all the steps, disabled LUX,restarted Blender, deleted LUX, deleted "luxcorerender.org" folder and restarted Mac before installing new build, compiled kernels and it works.But stalls on that error if scene has JPGs.
I'm on 12.6.2 on a 2013 Mac Pro but will retry at home on iMac.

Oh no i hate compiling ... need to recompile the whole dpes ... there was a wrong jpg lib sneaking in there ..

I'm good, have a previous version and not missing anything about 3.4, just reporting.
