playing with caustics
Finally it's possible to render HD animations with realistic caustics on my old MacBook, yay!
Thanks to the dev team making this possible!

(Dropbox player is evil, apparently full res only with download)

Re: playing with caustics
I like that one. Especially the dispersive scattering traces.
What is native resolution and render time?

Re: playing with caustics
That was rendered @2048x1280 in 2h (sorry, don't remember sample count), then PS denoised and saturation enhanced.

Re: playing with caustics
Like the vid, but would like to see it rendered with the camera settings option in the tonemapping section so that Lux isn't trying to change the exposure on you.

Re: playing with caustics
Thanks ajm for the hint, that was my very first LuxCore animation and I really made that stupid noob mistake to render with automatic tonemapping
Now I have rerendered it and replaced the file with the original link intact, looks way better !

New animation!

Needs more samples but that has to wait till I got a faster PC.
