BlendLuxcore 2.5 latest builds render freezing

Hi

I have been facing an issue with the latest builds of Luxcore. It started last week. I am using Blender, also the latest build, so first I thought the problem came from Blender 2.92 alpha... Today I made tests. No matter the scene, I made a sphere and tried to render... When trying to end the render, the software freezes, no matter the settings (CPU, GPU, 2 GPUs, denoiser on, denoiser on, CUDA, OPTIX, freezes anyway) So I installed Luxcore 2.4 official and it works like a charm with Blender 2.93 alpha. During tests, I also noticed that latest builds of Luxcore 2.5 are much slower.
I am running Windows 10, 2 2080 RTX, 32 GB ram... Could you please identify what is causing the issue in Luxcore 2.5, it used to be faster than 2.4 and also the features are better, so I am not so glad to be back at 2.4

(I know I am not providing any scene or screenshot, but I did make tests for hours, it freezes with any scene trying to end the render with the ESC key)

Instead of downgrading LuxCore, have you tried to downgrade Blender ? Blender 2.93 alpha sounds very unstable to me and the problem may be in Blender code.

Luxcore 2.4 is working perfectly now with Blender 2.93 alpha, with today's build... Luxcore 2.5 was working perfectly with daily builds in the past weeks. Last week 2.5 started freezing when ending render. I have no stability problems at all with Blender 2.92, 2.93 etc...

Well, it sounds like Blender Foundation has broken something with some recent change (in CUDA/Optix I guess). We will see how the situation evolve and if they fix that.

Yes, it seems so. Thank you for your answers. If anybody else runs into this issue, they can now find a reference here, that most apparently indeed something broke in CUDA/OPTIX Blender latest builds. I was relieved anyway to see that Luxcore 2.4 runs fine on Optix with Blender 2.93
