Personally, I don't like alcohol but the packaging of it, the bottles, shapes, labels are a form of Art for me...

dragonfly

Post by b2przemo »

Dragonfly model was done in Zbrush, textured in painter. I tried to renders that look more like macro with but I struggled with the quality of background elements. Finally, I decided to use some ground from megascans and some old photogrammetry scan that I did for a BlenderBoom two years ago.
It's my first insect :) I can't say that I'm proud of it... next time the result will be better.

different moods

Post by b2przemo »

Testing different looks.
Heterogeneous volumetric clouds rendered based on BYOB nodes. Old movie vibe using LUT. Grain movie noise added in photoshop. Regular Path, about 700spp, no denoise, no hdri.

Secondary image: I've tried to achieve an old painterly look. A mood that is similar to Anatoly Che's photographs. Regular Path (Bidir creates some weird bottom reflection in the big pumpkin after adding environmental volumetrics), about 500 spp, no denoise, no hdri, 2 main area lights + small point in the candle.

white chair

Post by b2przemo »

Chair upholstered in white leather (not so obvious in these renders - probably wrong shader - gloss translucent+gloss coat = very noisy), Final look tweaked in by lights group mixing. Regular path, about 1000spp, no hdri, 3 area lights.

pink wine

Post by b2przemo »

Pink wine. Bright (high-key) render. Regular path + light tracing, about 500spp (studio), 768spp (outdoor scene), denoised mixed with noisy image, no hdri, minor postprocessing (contrast, exposure, bright vignette) in darktable.
