Metal Material

Post by david57 »

I tried to use an NK file from this site:
http://luxpop.com/RefractiveIndexList.html

I tried the chrome "Cr.nk" file but luxCore didnt accept the file and could not use it.

Yup, erroneous... didn't had much time to explore different standards in use... so for now,
this solution still applies.

Note:
Either .nk or .ior, use as Sopra. ;)

I just tried the site but the site is not working.
I searched for SOPRA files from the net and found one.
Maybe I can find more or convert LUXPOP files into SOPRA files by hand.
That site is here.

I did try those & none of them work out-of-the-box. Bad header and different description than expected so w/o a translator, they need to be adapted manually. And i have yet to dive deeper and discover what form is readable for LuxCoreRender.
