zezic, did you note down the times in your material brightness test?
I compared images at equal render time, while you compared them at equal samples per pixel count.
Just a comment, I don't intend to sidetrack this into a testing thread

I've just noticed that there is no BUMP node being used on the floor. The Image map is being connected directly into the the Glossy material BUMP socket?

No. If you look at the code, it is just a scale texture (aka multiply): https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendL ... ump.py#L15

Hi,
These are rendered with Luxcore 2.1 alpha (with denoiser).
The render times are around 4 - 5 mins (CPU i74770K, GPU R9280x).
After denoiser the Luxcore speed jumps multifold. What do you guys think.
