Hi. new user of luxcore here.
In brief the caustics path is weakened when the light is cast onto another surface. I wonder if there is a way to show off the caustics path and show the caustics on a surface at the same time.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Susan welcome to the Lux community.
Here is an example file replicating your scene and wishes.
1__ Do it with bidir it will show path that are missed in PATHTracer+LightTracer.
2__ Create 2 volume one with air settings attached to your camera a second with homogenous fog attached to your spot light exterior volume
3__ Just added 2 area light to see the suzane head better.
4__ You can make the suzane head brighter by replacing the internal ""Clear volume"" by a ""Homogenous volume""

And a video Tutorial I should have made since a while about the subject :

Whoa thanks a lot!
I never knew there is a fog render environment counter part, that way too cool.
And nice video there, very underrated, thank you for making these!
