Error: "Mesh" objects has no attribute "vertex_normals"

Post by josephmcs »

I'm getting the error message:

Error: "Mesh" objects has no attribute "vertex_normals"

When I try to switch my viewport mode to "render". Has anybody experienced this before?

Attached are screenshots.

otherwise, copy/paste geo into new/clean scene then, if still troubling, strip that scene part by part until you find your culprit.

Thanks for your answer. Yep, I'm aware of that rule but the 2mb limit doesn't always make it practical or possible.

Luckily after a few times reloading the file, the issue went away. Strange but good enough result for me!

Could simply link it, since there are lot of hosting sites like G-Drive, OneDrive, Mega, Wetransfer, MediaFire, Yandex,...
Glad it solved itself for you :)
