Caustics + Furniture Renders

Post by dat_boi »

Hey guys been a while, I just finished a university assignment; and these are the renders that I came up with. its all part of a collection of furniture and homeware designs which use "generative processes" and incorporates glass and steel. Some of my best personal work is done for uni, and I thought it'd be a waste not to post them somewhere else (other than to my university teachers).

All the models (except the head of David statue) were modelled by me and my assignment partner. I modelled base forms in blender, and my partner used Rhino and Grasshopper to make the tentacle like patterns you can see.

All rendered in blender and Luxcore 2.5.

caustics cache + light tracing on.

Wow, awesome stuff! Can I put some of these in our gallery at https://luxcorerender.org/gallery/? If yes, which names should I credit, and should I link to your websites?
