Weird light intensity behaviour
Hi guys. I´m using Lux 2.5 Beta 1 on Blender 2.90.1. My scene has a HDR which sunlight gets inside the room through a window. As tonemapper, I´m using "Camera Settings". I added some point lights as IES, and, when I render the scene with IES lamps turned on, the HDR sunlight becames weaker.
Any clue about this?

In fact, there´s something more strange: what I mentioned before, happens in Preview Render. In final render, the HDR is weaker, even without the other lamps... I´m using Photon and Environment caches. Without caches, final render shows the HDR intensity as I expected. Why?

Mb something changed in standard settings? Try different Light strategy modes.

Re: Weird light intensity behaviour
Thanks, Dion, but the strange behaviour is still there...
Here follows what is happening:
With Photon GI cache only: With Environment Cache only: The expected result, is coming from Photon GI cache image.
I don´t know why Environment cache is "disabling" HDR sunlight.

Follows the file, Dade.
Re: Weird light intensity behaviour
The scene is missing the HDR file for the infinite light source (i.e. "abandoned_parking_4k.hdr" file).

Re: Weird light intensity behaviour
Dade, the HDR is too large to send it. I got it at HDRI Haven. The second layer is not important. It´s just a plane with an image.
Re: Weird light intensity behaviour
I have no idea how Blender works nor I'm interested to learn how it does. Nor I have the time to go around and find and HDR that will match the light in your original scene. If you can provide a simple scene I can export in LuxCore scene format, I will check what is going. Otherwise I will not.
