Blender closes when working with LOL.
Previews are not always loaded.

Can you try with 2.83 LTS instead. It should work.

Maybe linux have some restriction about download file to directory without entering password or something simillar.
Can you try same blender and blendluxcore on windows maybe a friend PC ?

I already have it deactivated, but on N-tab (3D viewport) it stays present and working...
IMHO it would be best, if LOL is a separate addon. Don't wanna have extra bloat & bugs, just because of using Lux

Just read the following thread where it has already been discussed. Btw if you find bugs in both Lux or Lol just report it.

I have fixed the deactivation in the preferences in the latest version. The local library panel remained active if the library was deactivated.
