Hi,
I would like to make a small FullHd video with this file, having a reasonable rendering time.
This is a first rehearsal:
It came discreetly but the denoise causes artifacts and flickering.
Do you have any suggestions on how to avoid them?
Also, I don't know if it's a bug, if I activate PhotonGI Cache the denoiser pass gets black.
I'm on Linux, Blender 2.82, Lux 2.3.
Here is the file:
Thank you,
Riccardo

Re: Flickering video
You could try:
- Use Sobol sampler instead of Metropolis (Metropolis is very slow on GPUs)
- Disable multiscattering in the world volume
- Enable the environment light cache
Re: Flickering video
Thank you,
I tried: it reduces the problem of the denoise on the distant parts but white spots appear that go around. I try to double the calculation time.

Re: Flickering video
Clamping was disabled.
Enabling it (and passing from 10min to 16min ) has greatly improved the quality: Here is the non denoised frame: Here my final setup: Thank you,
