I just started using GPU Path, so I wonder might anyone know what's with those light circles?
Denoiser removes most of them, but they get stronger when sample count rises.
Here's the scene https://drive.google.com/open?id=12MoiA ... -YhoX9pFwx.
PhotoGI Cache is enabled in the scene, yet those circles also appear when it's disabled.

Are you using the bloom filter? They look like fireflies + bloom to me.

Thank you very much! They're not circles, but are conventional fireflies.

Variance clamping is the tool to use with path tracing to removing them.wasd wrote: Sat Sep 14, 2019 8:26 pm Well, I'm not accustomed to fireflies. I used nothing but Bidir before and Bidir rarely produce them.
Re: Bright little circles with GPU Path
Thanks a lot! I set suggested value for clamping and fireflies are gone.

Very nice interplay of the reflections from the four panes.
Simple but rewarding setup - great work!
