One tip to improve the speed a bit, I would switch the direct light sampling mode of the lava to "Disabled" in all shots where it is not the main source of lighting.

Hi guys, I wanted to share with you my little project, I intend to soon use this engine as the main form of work.
This could maybe turn into benchmark

Great decision and nice work, especially the depth of filed looks great!
I guess you could scare poor minecraft creature to rigor mortis with these not aligned outer space alien cubes.

we all welcome you to the forum!
WOW! It looks interesting!
I was also struck by the speed of your render, just 4 minutes, my weak computer tells me that it will take hours (I think more than 5 hours)
LOL, I now tried to check how long it would take and blender crashed .
so please share your secret how did you fix shading problems? My meshes look weird.
Did you also independently make materials for each block?

Remember to use the latest version of Lux Core!
Yesterday I downloaded the latest 2.2 beta, if I'm not mistaken.
I think that the problem with crash does not relate so much to luxcore as to the power of my computer, it just crashed and then there was a black screen for a few seconds until the windows shell rebooted, so I think there is no luxcore fault

Select all objects and apply the flat option
Flat.png
hmm, I didn’t even think that it was due to this, in the viewport everything looked as if flat shading was already used there

I think you should try to optimize the configuration for your computer, I'm learning

Really nice! Would make a good example scene.

Thanks for the tip
