Rewrite homogeneous code

Post by madcat117 »

Dade volumetric lighting takes way to long to render noise free even with many samples and it also takes way to long to compute too in general for 2.3 please fix this other render engines do not have this problem make sure you fix for metropolis and bi directional thank you :P

 Instead of writing bunch of text, do provide some proof. Comparative study would be more than welcome.

Kintux aren't you the person who claimed there was still bugged volumetric lighting after Dade fixed it oh wait you are the person anyways since I already ran tests at 5000 samples and Kintux has not, you will find that volumetrics takes 6 plus hours to calculate on a 1080p frame with good cpu and still noisy even though mutiscattering is disabled and 5000 samples on bi directional and metropolis was used. This is a outrageous time considering too that the scene is one room with 4 walls only and one light source sun lamp.
