Happy new year!

How is the beta going?

There are some bits missing I think, but not too much, right?

The Bevel node, the Random UV node (both in Blendluxcore) and custom normals support for Blender 2.91 / 2.92, not sure if something more but so far 2.5 looks amazing :D

Unfortunately it seems as if development has come to a halt for some reason. Not sure why. Trello hasn't been updated for months. It would be a pity if this project would vanish.

I don’t think the project will vanish, I RESLLY HOPE NOT :)

I found yesterday that BYOB was away from his computer, and since there is a pair of things missing I imagine the wait is for BYOB to come back :)

But Dade can confirm :)

I think the LuxCore devs are allowed to take a holiday break without people freaking out too much ;)

Here are the commit history for LuxCore and BlendLuxCore if your worried about there not being any activity (that being months, not days):

Agree :)

The LuxCore evolution and improvement pace is so good than when something slows down a bit we start wondering, and that’s a non-sense :)
Better have rested and empowered developers than burnt down and tired ones GO TEAM GO!!! 👏

I was just asking about the beta, but I never had a doubt about the project being alive, and when I found BYOB was away I understood it :)

Hi. What is the latest Blender version I can run with 2.5 beta1 ? I remember I could not use some modifiers in 2.5 when running it with Blender 2.9
Thank you

I use 2.91 right now and didn't notice any problems. But newer versions should also work.
Custom normals are now supported for every Blender version that is 2.83 or higher, but were not in the past, which is probably what you mean with "some modifiers didn't work".

Thank you! Yes and I Think there was a bevel modifier did not work in a project. I am not sure. I am re-taking a scene I started long time ago.

I just saw Blender is looking for developers for cycles...Hope you stay and keep making luxcore amazing.
