Old scene or Fresh scene?

Had same problems with old scenes. Purging didn't work.
With new/fresh ones it's fine.

Note: I didn't try appending.

Good it works for you... in my scene I've again that kind of problem.

I cant understand what's going wrong.
If I delete the emission node on the emitters, all is fine...I'll check the geometries.

You have to open issues and upload those problematic scenes for us, otherwise the problems will not go away.

Are you sure to have correctly update the pyluxcore.pyd file with the one I posted ? Having still the old version (the one linked in the web site) may be the easier explanation.

I've downloaded the one you linked from google drive.

I've downloaded it again to be sure to have the updated one.
Anyway I'll investigate and, if I can't solve by myself, I'll post you again the scene.

I am confirming lots of crashes with BiDir. After working with any scene for a while. All fresh ones. Seems the cause are HDRIs skies, if are made for Cycles an then the LuxCore engine is used. Lots of crashes happen in such cases even while just messing with HDRI.
Here's latest one gone corrupt (just render):
testBiDircrasher.zip
(1.8 MiB) Downloaded 321 times

Plus, (not sure it's a bug):
If cores are fixed to lesser number then the cores present, all cores are still used, just not in full.
IIRC from observations in Task Manager this worked properly before - the number of cores fixed/defined was running at 100% while others were free/idle at 0%.

I changed the Large Mutation Probability from 40% to 100% and works fine now.
I tried both the HDRI and then then the Sky in the world settings and both work fine.
Used Bidir for this settings.
