Maybe the OCL zip contains the no-OCL binaries for some reason?
File size in the two archives looks identical, and here is the message from blender when trying to use an OCL engine:

Yes, for some reason, the OpenCL-less version executables ended in the OpenCL .zip. I have updated the stand alone version and Blender version too. They should now work fine.

Now it's working.
Thank you.

Using a scene I'm using for my tests, the F12 rendering process seems really long comparing the previous alpha.

Anyone else?

EDIT: nevermind... I've reload the scene and it seems ok with normal compiling time.
I'll evaluate with other tests.

Sorry

Alpha5 had the "not inline" trick to speed up compilation times on NVIDIA. However the trick crash the NVIDIA compiler in some cases, so the problem is choosing between something that work (alpha6) and something that sometime doesn't but it is faster to compile (alpha5). There isn't a good choose

IMHO, stability is much better, if you want to work in production.

Linux users can still test my optimized builds, no crashing, no instabilities so far.

Does it render LuxMark Mic (or similar scenes) ?
