Q: When LOL is not used (deactivated), is there also a way to remove it from N-tab?

Can you try with 2.83 LTS instead. It should work.

Maybe linux have some restriction about download file to directory without entering password or something simillar.
Can you try same blender and blendluxcore on windows maybe a friend PC ?

IMHO it would be best, if LOL is a separate addon. Don't wanna have extra bloat & bugs, just because of using Lux :|

I have fixed the deactivation in the preferences in the latest version. The local library panel remained active if the library was deactivated.
