I also want to thank Philstix for contributing a handy node with IOR presets. :)

Important notice: There was something wrong with the binaries.
We recompiled and repackaged all of them.

Sorry been a bit busy lately. Testing out normal maps again. It's projecting now, but still has some issues with per pixel/per vertex shading.

It's the terminator problem, see An object that I set to "smooth shading" looks like it is shaded flat in shadow penumbras
Sorry for asking, but will this ever be tackled or is it just too much?
It becomes most problematic with CAD files from the industry where there's simply too much extra work for Lux to be even considered.

I believe Thea renderer had an analytical solution to this problem so it seems to be possible for an unbiased renderer.

Yes, I remember an article about the feature in Thea but I can't find it anymore.
The only thing they offer is an example image, scroll to the bottom of this page: https://www.thearender.com/site/index.p ... iased.html
However I don't know if their workaround/hack is truly unbiased (but if it works, I'm not complaining about a little bias).
