Absolutely agree. Here are my proposed (minor) changes:

I've created only desktop mockup for now. If the changes will be approved, I'll check the mobile design and will create the matching designs for inner pages.

I slightly adjusted the logo design as well. I tried to keep it as close to original as possible and to give some polish to typography at the same time.
Very beautiful, I like it a lot, let's wait for other people opinion but I like it.

Oh wow, this looks great!

Now that you have added a dark rectangle behind the text in the banners, can we get rid of the annoying darkening effect on the banner images? It doesn't really work with LDR images ;)

But i've a request for it.

It is a little bit to much software oriented design. I think we need to make it a bit community and artists oriented. something in mix of your mockup and :

I'm afraid, not. Even if we add the semi-transparent rectangles for both title and description, the surrounding bright highlights can make white text less legible.

It would be very nice if you could visualize your idea in another mockup :)

I've uploaded the updated wordpress theme: http://www-test.luxcorerender.org/

Only desktop version of the front page for now. I'll fix the styles for smaller screens and will work on the inner pages later.

Great, thanks for working on it!

Some feedback: I find the download button a bit misplaced (also it clashes with the About dropdown menu).
Maybe you can use the same large download button that is on the very bottom of the front page, and show it centered under the menu bar (or maybe below the header image)?

The text on top of the header images looks a bit too large and too bold in my opinion, maybe make it smaller?

Otherwise it's great, I really like the icons.

Ok, thanks for feedback. I've already noticed some other problems as well (missing arrows in links in Firefox, for example).

As for the download button, for me it jumps to the second row only on screens 1000-1100 px wide. I think it's possible to make menu font size a bit smaller on these screens to keep it in one line.

For some reason there is a problem with fonts. I'll look into it. Perhaps, locally installed fonts are used on my machine. Could you try to clear the cached CSS and reload the page, please?
