hi. I looked into LOL between render tests, but i can justsaw the material library UI not models UI inside LOL. When I press to liked material for downloading it shows 0% of downloading and nothing happens. Whats wrong? any tut on it?

This behaviour can happen when your build version isn't recent enough. Maybe try with a new build.

I have added the very first implementation of local asset support. It is very basic and probably has a lot of bugs but here it is.

You can add a asset by selecting it and type in the name and category in the Local panel. After that you could select an thumbnail image or let the addon render one (default) with the given amount of samples.

The asset will be stored in the folder for the asset_types model or material
%USERPROFILE%\LuxCoreOnlineLibrary_data\<asset_type>\local

And the thumbail will be stored in the folder
%USERPROFILE%\LuxCoreOnlineLibrary_data\<asset_type>\preview\local

If you already have an asset in a blend file and a thumbnail image, you can copy the files in the above mentioned folder and hit the 'Search new local assets' button in the local panel. After that there should be a scan result list with the new assets which can be added after that.

With the local only option in the asset panel you can switch between all assets or only the local ones.

There will be more features like editing the local asset list or removing of assets.

That is a great news indeed.It is more elaborated than what i had in mind. very great job ! :D
I'm currently testing it.
But i struggle. i have created a local folder as you say (one for preview thumbnails and one for model). Now i don't know if i should create subfolders for each local categories.

Ok i have first result both thumbnails and blend shouldn't be in a sub folder in local folder to be seen.
Look like a the addon need to be connected to internet before it allow new local asset to be add and seen in the main preview bar.
I mean the search work without internet so do the add asset button. But after that the bar won't show again until i connect the internet.

Ok i understand now categories are created by the .json file not subfolder. ;)
