Can I make a suggestion?

Please make it realtime, while you're rendering, not only a postprocess option, because you will never know when you have to stop sampling to get the best results from the denoiser.

I had the same thoughts.
It is planned to be added as an image pipeline plugin, so you can enable/disable it during rendering (or even after rendering, if you save the film).

We should have sorted out all open problems for BCD integration. Now we have only to write a load of code

This is a 100spp rendering:
More samples per pixels you use and less "splotchy" the rendering will look (BCD is intended for off-line rendering, more samples you have and better it is).

It can really work well, this is a 100spp rendering and the denoising is pretty much perfect:

It's already a pure pleasure just to watch you develop... can hardly imagine how it will be working with...

I'm also positively surprised, it works much better than I hoped for.

Cannot wait to have this! This could make bidirectional to be the weapon of choice for everyone.
