OpenCL kernel compilation

Post by lacilaci »

Is it really required to compile kernels every time I start render? Sometimes it takes quite a bit of time and makes testrenders on big scenes pretty painful.

In vrayRT for example the compilation is triggered only once(very first run after installation) and then never again... But that's cuda so maybe this is the issue?

Quote every single word.
It will be superuseful to avoid this and replicate vrayRT behaviour
