Exactly, Minecraft is one of the games that was created with this technique, you can name more. the basic idea that I'm following here is to make lux core more usable in other areas than just realistic images. By making it compatible with more popular plugins and with newer technics that don't need a change in the core renderer. Like Volumetric render and Voxels or the new thing that I'm looking at Camera Projection.

Still in progress and have to issue in a few areas but mostly done. with almost no time to translate.

I'm following camera projection topic too, it is really handy on many cases, look at this cool scene creating with Camera projection that need no time to render and just in 13 minutes.

"What a time to be live" :geek:

Maybe, I should ask the "Two Minutes Paper" team to do the same with "Sid Meier's Civilization (R) IV" Game. :D :ugeek:

Unfortunately, I had a very bad accident and my left foot broke in 4 different places so I was not able to work as I want because the doctor told me to not sit on the chair for more than 5 minutes. but the good news is I have already added support for sub materials/multi-material also adding Amd fidelity supersampling, so it is possible to render in 1080p and make it 2k without any effort and progress time. it is really nice feature and very nice when you want to do a fast render and have in it a larger format. I think I can use it to speed up the interactive viewport render perhaps.
Here is a simple test of it.
Orginal image in 2:46" 1069x1440px
MaxToLux-D-O.jpg
2k image in 2:47" 2138x2880px
MaxToLux-D-2k.jpg
I tried it in 100 frame animation and it works the same.

Sorry to hear about your foot, hope you will recover soon and perfectly.
The 2k render looks amazing for time.
Hope to see a new release soon. ;)

Improve multi-materal and sub-material support in 3dsmax.
The new build is faster and less likely to cause the crash also it is not limited to many sub-level materials inside each other.
just a very simple demonstration of the output.

Completely rewrite the mesh and all functions in connecting with mesh.
The final version of Multi-material/Sub-material + multi-channel multi UV support.
