Magog wrote: Thu Feb 28, 2019 3:52 pm Is there a tutorial or discussion on the forum where we talk about the Photon Count report, Photon Depth and the other PHOTON GI settings?
How can I understand how many photons need the scene and the relationship between them?
Thank you

Most of the time the debug view is a good peace judge !

It is mostly development related stuff so it may be a bit confusing. As Sharlybg wrote, the best tool is the "debug" view. It is a direct view of the cache content and, with a bit of experience, it is easy to evaluate, if the radius is too small/big, if you need to trace more/less photons, etc.

The best tool is experience, this is what I have learned in recent years.
Each project is an end in itself, there are no fixed rules.
I will test, I will be wrong, but in the end I will find the right way.
But other than that ..
How can I see the debug?
