How to do HDRI invisible to the camera?

Post by infinityeternity »

I need to make HDRI invisible to the camera? Or another possible solution is making a plane emitter visible only to the camera. Basically I need pure white background (which doesn't affect other objects at all) while objects is lit by HDRI.

You could use the transparent film option in the camera/imagepipeline properties.
The HDRI will be transparent and you can place what you like instead in the compositor, with alpha over node.
