The wiki pages doesn't mention the differences between the standalone and the blender plugin version...
But I guess some features are left out in the blender plugin like the hair and fur feature?
Are there other features which blendluxcore is missing (will neve rhave) ?

Re: Strand primitive in blendluxcore?
Blender hair is converted to LuxCore strands.
The hair conversion was recently improved, see this thread (also for some example images): viewtopic.php?f=4&t=591&start=20#p6070
Also, luxcoreui has some features which BlendLuxCore doesn't expose, but that's because luxcoreui is a tool for developers rather than for end users.
So you will e.g. find in luxcoreui the BidirVM render engine, which is experimental and not really usable yet, see viewtopic.php?f=4&t=657#p6583
But if this engine would be improved to a usable state in the future, it would of course be exposed in BlendLuxCore.

Not many. There are a few mentioned in the readme.
