EHLO (o;

As I use an image texture for a spot light I thought I ask if in the future there will be an option to also set a movie as texture..

From the manual: "Both point lights and spot lights can distribute their light and color according to an image. With spot lights, this results in an effect like something being projected from a diapositive projector or beamer."

So if a movie could be used, an animation could be created simulating a beamer throwing a movie onto a wall (o;

You can create an image sequence from your movie (just all the frames as images, with continuous names like "0001.png", "0002.png" etc.).
You can do this with Blender or with an external program.

All places in BlendLuxCore where a still image is accepted, it's also possible to use an image sequence.
Just click the "Open" button and instead of only choosing one image, select all the frames of the sequence.

So blendluxcore takes them one by one automatically for each frame that is rendered?

That would be terrific (o;

Now gonna get some HDMI splitter to record python kivy touch screen interface to be rendered ;-)
