Hello, everyone!
This is my first post here. I've searched for this subject, but haven't found anything that helps, so I am going to open this thread, if it's been discussed before, please let me know.
Is there a way to add an additional bump to the normal map? I have a situation where I want to have a brushed metal engraved with some decorative shapes and I have a normal map for the brushed part and another, regular imagemap for the decorative shapes. Is it possible to combine the two bump maps? If one of them wasn't a normal map, I would just mix the two together, but in this case, I don't know.
Additional bump with normal mapping.

Re: Additional bump with normal mapping.
Actually, I found a solution myself. I don't know if it's the best one, but it works.
I've attached a screenshot of the annotated node setup.
The factor for the mix math node is set to 0.001

Re: Additional bump with normal mapping.
You can just use a math node in "add" mode, it does all the required math behind the scenes.
